Nomad- A member of a people having no permanent abode, and who travel from place to place to find fresh pasture for their livestock. 

Hunter-Gatherer- A member of a nomadic people who live chiefly by hunting and fishing, and harvesting wild food.

Neolithic Revolution- The Neolithic Revolution, also called the Agricultural Revolution, marked the transition in human history from small, nomadic bands of hunter-gatherers to larger, agricultural settlements and early civilization.

Slash and burning- Is a form of shifting agriculture where the natural vegetation is cut down and burned as a method of clearing the land for cultivation, and then, when the plot becomes infertile, the farmer moves to a new fresh plat and does the same again.

Domestication- The process of taming an animal and keeping it as a pet or on a farm.

 Which effect of the development of agriculture was the most significant?- They used tools to find food and kill it with spear and a chisel-like cutter to make other tools. 

How did Cro-Magnons new tools make survival easier?- They made a spear to throw so that the prey wouldn't get to you first.

What factors played a role in the origins of agriculture?- Climate, a rich supply of grain.

What were the first crops grown in the Americas?- corn, beans, and squash
