LO1: Define Christianity
LO2: Identify and describe the early tactics used by Christians that made the religion spread and become synonymous with Western Civilization. 


Christianity- The religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or its beliefs and practices.

  1. Explain how the role on one God created a new need for people within ancient society
    It created a new need for people cause they were able to break away from the beliefs that the Romans believed in.

  2. Describe the role of “miracles” in converting people to Christianity.
    It made more people believe their was a god that was doing all these things cause they. knew that they couldn't do this themselves. For example the act of curing someone who might be blind.
  3. Discuss why Christianity was viewed as a “grassroots” movement.
    By digging up the concrete of Christendom we have found that the grassroots of Christianity grow wild. Over the last three years we have learned that God is still answering the prayer. 

  4. What group within Roman society was targeted to be converted? According to the article, why did early Christians target this particular group?
    The Gnostic Christians are targeted...and other dualist Christians. Christians who don't have the Old Testament as part of their canon are targeted. They targeted them cause they didn't believe in there believes.
